Overview

The role is based in our Avondale, Arizona Distribution Center and is Full Time, Weekday Shift in the Picking/Packing Outbound Department.

The schedule for the role is Monday - Friday – 7:00am – 3:30pm. (Plus OT)

 

Compensation

The wage for this position is based on many factors such as role requirements, skill set, years of experience and other organizational needs. The wage is $17 per hour.

 

Overview (Overall purpose and objective of the job)

This position/title/shift, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs tasks associated with:

  • The storage, process and shipment of product while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral Vitamin Shoppe expectations.
  • Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse.

Education/Certification:      

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.

Skill and Ability:

  • Able to operate held RF scanner or other devices associated with Warehouse Management System
  • Able to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements
  • Able to do continuous lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able and willing to work overtime when required
